HouseIQ is designed with privacy in mind. The app stores your data locally on your device and optionally syncs via your personal iCloud account. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data.

Information We Collect

HouseIQ does not collect any personal information. All data you enter into the app (properties, appliances, maintenance records, documents) is stored locally on your device using Core Data.

How Your Data Is Stored

• Local Storage: All app data is stored locally on your device using Core Data.
• iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud, your data syncs through your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. This data is protected by Apple's iCloud security and is only accessible with your Apple ID.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following: personal identification information, location data, device identifiers, usage analytics or tracking data, or any user-generated content.

Third-Party Services

• iCloud CloudKit: Used for optional data synchronization across your devices. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• App Store StoreKit: Used for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

Data Security

Your data is protected by the security features built into iOS and iCloud. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you use iCloud sync, you can also delete your data from iCloud through your device's Settings.

Children's Privacy

HouseIQ does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected, the app is safe for use by all ages.
